England v Wales on Friday to kick off 6 Nations

Martin Johnson's England look set to travel to Wales for the opening match of the 2011 in order to play Wales at the Millennium Stadium on a Friday night.

Some of the provisional fixtures have been leaked with England travelling to Cardiff with their February the 4th curtain raiser.

Final fixtures have not been finalised but WRU bosses are said to be close to tying up the deal which will see one of the bigger matches in the SixNations kicking the tournament off on a Friday for the first time.
