Six Nations Rugby Results 2000

More results

The 2000 Six Nations Championship tournament was the first to feature six nations, moving from the Five Nations format, with the inclusion of Italy for the first time.

The tournament was won by England. Probably the most surprising thing about the 2000 tournament came the very first match when Italy "surprised" Scotland and got their first Six Nations victory. Their first away win would surprisingly come again against Scotland but they had to wait until 2007 for that win.

Scotland turned things around though and recorded a 19-13 win against England in the final tournament match of the year and this prevented England from attaining the Grand Slam.
